Description
Quick and easy chicken and avocado wraps with a turmeric kick.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 large whole wheat tortillas
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- Optional toppings: salsa, sour cream, hot sauce
Instructions
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, toss chicken with turmeric, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Warm tortillas according to package directions.
- Divide chicken mixture among tortillas. Top with avocado, lettuce, and red onion.
- Add optional toppings if desired.
- Roll up tortillas and serve.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken thighs for breasts.
- Adjust spice levels to your preference.
