Description

Tender and flavorful pork roast slow-cooked to perfection with simple ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1 (2-3 pound) boneless pork roast
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) dry Ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) dry Au Jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 57 pepperoncini peppers

Instructions

  1. Place the pork roast in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the dry Ranch dressing mix and dry Au Jus gravy mix over the roast.
  3. Place the butter on top of the roast.
  4. Add the pepperoncini peppers around the roast.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the roast is tender and easily shredded.
  6. Shred the pork with two forks and mix with the juices in the slow cooker before serving.

Notes

  • Use a pork shoulder or butt roast for best results.
  • Adjust the number of pepperoncini peppers to your spice preference.
