Description
Creamy avocado halves filled with flavorful salmon salad.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 can (about 5 oz) canned salmon, drained and flaked
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Halve the avocados and remove the pits.
- In a small bowl, combine the flaked salmon, red onion, dill, mayonnaise or Greek yogurt, and lemon juice.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spoon the salmon mixture into the avocado halves.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can substitute canned tuna for the salmon.
- Add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a little heat.
- Garnish with extra dill or a sprinkle of paprika.
