Description

Creamy avocado halves filled with flavorful salmon salad.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 can (about 5 oz) canned salmon, drained and flaked
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Halve the avocados and remove the pits.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the flaked salmon, red onion, dill, mayonnaise or Greek yogurt, and lemon juice.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Spoon the salmon mixture into the avocado halves.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can substitute canned tuna for the salmon.
  • Add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a little heat.
  • Garnish with extra dill or a sprinkle of paprika.
