Easy Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Easy Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Description

Garlic Butter Steak Bites are a quick and flavorful dish, perfect for appetizers or easy dinners. Tender steak bites are seared to perfection and coated in a rich garlic butter sauce. The high heat ensures a beautifully browned exterior while keeping the inside juicy and tender; pair it with Bbq Wings for a complete meal.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Sirloin Steak (cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil (extra virgin)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced fresh)
  • 4 tbsp Butter (unsalted)
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prep the steak: Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat until smoking. Add steak cubes in a single layer (do not overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if needed).
  3. Sear each side: Sear the steak for 2-3 minutes per side, until a brown crust forms on all sides and the internal temperature reaches 130-135°F for medium-rare.
  4. Remove the Steak: Transfer the seared steak bites to a plate and set aside.
  5. Melt the butter: Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet and let it melt.
  6. Add Garlic: Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  7. Combine Ingredients: Add the chopped parsley, dried thyme, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the garlic butter sauce.
  8. Return Steak: Return the seared steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat them evenly in the garlic butter sauce.
  9. Cook briefly: Cook for another minute, allowing the sauce to slightly thicken and cling to the steak.
  10. Serve: Remove from heat and serve immediately.
