This easy dump cake recipe uses just 5 ingredients and creates a light, lemony dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 box (15.25 ounces) lemon cake mix
- 1 box (3.4 ounces) instant lemon pudding mix
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 cup cold milk or water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In the prepared baking dish, sprinkle the dry lemon cake mix evenly over the bottom.
- Sprinkle the dry instant lemon pudding mix evenly over the cake mix.
- Pour the undrained crushed pineapple evenly over the pudding mix.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the pineapple.
- Pour the cold milk or water evenly over the top. Do not stir.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbling.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
- You can substitute other fruit fillings for the pineapple.
- Adjust baking time based on your oven.
