Quick and easy honey garlic chicken made in 30 minutes.

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water until smooth.
- Pour the cornstarch mixture into the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce is glossy and coats the chicken.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
- Serve immediately with rice or noodles.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of honey and soy sauce to your taste.
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- This recipe can be doubled for a larger serving.
